Purpose

Journal of Electoral Studies is an academic journal published by the Election Study Center of National Chengchi University. It has been consistently indexed in the first tier of Taiwan Social Sciences Citation Index (TSSCI) and has been recognized with the "Selected Journal Communication Award" (for both five-year citations and long-term citation impact) by the National Central Library, underscoring its significant contribution to the dissemination of academic research in Taiwan.

The journal publishes peer-reviewed articles on a wide range of topics, including electoral systems, voting behavior, political psychology, political communication, public opinion and politics, survey methodology and practices, big data analytics, and research methods. Submissions are welcomed in both Chinese and English.

The journal is issued semiannually, in May and November. Manuscripts undergo a rigorous double-blind peer review process on a rolling basis, with preliminary decisions communicated to authors within eight weeks of submission. Each issue typically features 3–5 research articles, with an acceptance rate of 15%-30%, comparable to that of leading international academic journals.

Full-text articles are available for download from this website, as well as the National Central Library Periodical Literature, Taiwan Citation Index - Humanities and Social Sciences, Taiwan Open Access Journals, and AiritiLibrary. However, some articles from volumes preceding Volume 5 are unavailable for download.
